Petar PISMESTROVIC - AUSTRIA

Petar Pismestrovic was born in Sremska Mitrovica, former Yugoslavia in
1951. After the school graduation he studied political science in Zagreb,
and since 1970 he works as professional cartoonist.

Aside of his work for 40 newspapers and magazines, he organised 25 exhibitions
of his own works in former Yugoslavia, took part in numerous cartoon exhibitions
and festivals worldwide and won five first prizes, twice in Tolentino
(Italy), Deva (Romania), Zagreb (Croatia), Belgrade (Serbia) as well as
the second Prize in Seoul (Korea), the "Excellence Prize" in
Tokyo (Japan) and the Special Prize in Istanbul (Turkey).

One of the founding members of the croatian cartoonists association (HDK).
Pismestrovic works for Kleine Zeitung (Austria) since 1992. His works
have been published in magazines and newspapers such as Nebelspalter (Switzerland),
Courrier International (France), New York Times (USA), International Herald
Tribune (France) , Cicero(Germany).

Cartoon exhibitions in Klagenfurt (1992, 2000), Feldkirchen (1994), Ferndorf
(1997), Tainach (1998) , K�flach and St.Veit a.G. (2007). Aside of
three books with hs own cartoons, his works have been published in various
other books such as "The Finest International Cartoons Of Our Time"
(USA), Marylin in Art, Madonna in Art ( Great Britain), "The Big
Book of Bush" (USA), "The best Political Cartoons of the year
2007" (USA), "Politik f�r das dritte Jahrtausend - Festschrift
fur Alois Mock zum 60. Geburtstag", "Hohles Haus - Zitate aus
Nationalratssitzungen der letzten zehn Jahre", "Zukunft denken
-Festschrift f�r Wolgang Sch�ssel" ( all Austria) �Eurospott�(Germany).

He also made illustrations for various books, Posters, Record covers
and mascots. Pismestrovic is austrian citizen since 1996.

He was born in the year 1940. Graduated from Faculty of Philosophy.
Cartoon was a preoccupation of early childhood, actively began to publish since
1969. In Yugoslavia was a regular collaborator in all important newspapers and
magazines, also in foreign where he was released. Year 1977. I published a book
called "horns". Pop-Iliev is one of the founders of the Association
of cartoonist in Macedonia, the initiator and organizer of the first Macedonian
cartoons in the exhibition abroad. The first independent exhibition I had at
the festival "Satirikon in Lengici - Poland 1980. year. The illustrator of
books and textbooks. Included in the caricatures of museums around the world.
His cartoons are published in over 350 exhibitions and catalogs of the
cartoons. Today is one of the most active cartoonists in Macedonia. Received
more than 50 international awards and recognitions.

Zoran Spasojević (Serbian Cyrillic: Зоран Спасојевић) was born on January 22,
1949 in Kragujevac, Serbia.

He is the author of poetry
books: �The Gift of Emptiness� (1986) and �Hunger� (1998), short stories
�Farewell suit� (1997), �Short Stories without Any Trouble� (2003, 2006), drama
trilogy �America has a hole� (2003), short drama book �Reservation Serbia�
(2006), documentary comedy �Gavrilo�s Principle� (2008) and comedy �Do you love
me, Jakov� (2008), as well as satire book �Here the rabbit drinks water�
(2008).

He is the author of the CD-ROM
(graphics, books and texts) �Circus� (2006).

He is also the author of the
TV drama �America has a hole 2� (1999), screen play for a TV comedy serial
�Without a Title� (2000) and a radio drama �Short history of alternating
standing and falling�.

He has been published in more than
forty anthologies and collections of poetry, short stories, short drama and

photos.

He was born in
İstanbul in 1936.His first cartoons appeared in local magazines namely Karakedi
(Blackcat) and Hafta (Week) in 1952. Since then his cartoons
have been published in local and foreign press.

He took part with his
four friends in forming the group called United Cartoonist in 1975. He also participated in two private
exhibitions with the group in 1975 and 1978.

One of his cartoons
was selected for exhibition permanently by the cartoon museums in Italy
(Tolentino), Poland
(Warsaw) and Bulgaria
(Gabrovo). He also opened private exhibitions in Poland, Croatia, Bulgaria and Turkey.

He got two cartoon
albums named [Karmakarışık] and [Kelamsız] where collection of his cartoons
were published in 1984 and 2001.

He was honored with a
prize by the Association of Press Information headed by the prime Ministry of Turkey for his
endless contributions to the development of the art of cartoon in Turkey over the
last 30 years.

Until recently his cartoons
on political issues were published in daily newspapers namely Akşam, G�neş, Cumhuriyet,
Barometre and Global.

He was also elected
as a jury member for the Contest of Nasrettin Hodja held in 1975, 1997 and
1999.

He was elected as the
chairman to the Association of Turkish cartoonists for one year in 1995.

His studies as a free
cartoonist have been in continuous progress so far. His cartoons are being
published in the magazines called Değişim and Bizim Sanat. He is married and has
two children.

Marcin BONDAROWICZ - POLAND

MARCIN BONDAROWICZ is a professional Polish cartoonist and illustrator.

He is also a specialized painter and photographer. He was born in 1976 in Starachowice, Poland. He lives now in Poland as a freelance artist. He regularly publishes his cartoons on several Websites and collaborates with a wide range of magazines and newspapers.

Marcin Bondarowicz masters traditional techniques�( such as oil and acrylic painting, pencil drawing ...) and digital graphic technologies ( such as digital manipulations ...).

Marcin used to be a journalist, a position that gave him a critical eye to the world events and brought obvious social and political connotations to some of his creations.

He specialized into press illustration collaborating with top Polish and international papers (such Harvard Business Review Poland,�Manager Magazyn Polish Edition, Business Week Polish Edition, Newsweek Polish�Edition, Poland Monthly, Le Monde Diplomatique Polish Edition ...). He won several international contests receiving numerous prizes and awards.

Marcin also produces posters that follow the well established and much respected Polish tradition of poster. In this perspective, his creations representa plastic synthesis with evident literary allusions.

Nevertheless, without denying the strong correlation with this institution, Marcin adds his own perception of the world, mixing surrealist, anthropomorphic and organic graphic�ingredients with anachronistic references.

It is not only the very significant manual skills and proficiency of Marcin�Bondarowicz that make his art so particular but also the strength of thecharacter of the artist. Most of his paintings deal with private events of hislife and with his personal artistic evolution, while also generating anintimate horizontal dialogue with the spectator.
